Efraim and Rosalie Eisen have attained excellence as facilitators of transformation in people's lives. Their commitments to helping Jewish singles connect, while building community involvement is unmatched. Together they have facilitated Basherte™ events in the United States, Canada, and Israel.

Efraim has distinguished himself as a licensed marriage, family, and child therapist (MFCC) for over 25 years, by combining psychology and spirituality. Efraim is currently Spiritual Leader of Temple Israel and Pioneer Valley Jewish Renewal in Western Massachusetts. Efraim brings great joy to communities as a musician and spiritual leader.

Rosalie has many accomplishments in education and human services, and is a successful workshop facilitator. Through her experience with loss and mourning, she brings a special compassion and sensitivity to the Basherte program. Rosalie serves as Executive Director of Basherte.

Rosalie and Efraim met at the 1991 Aleph Jewish Renewal Kallah in Philadelphia, though they both lived in Oregon communities. Their meeting was surely Basherte. They have three children and currently reside in Amherst, MA.
